Wedding Invitation
Invitation, save-the-date, welcome packet, place cards, and ceremony program.
We decided on the theme of "our journey" and I played off this idea of travel for each element for our wedding: the save-the-date mimics a subway map with "stops" at important events in our romance; tables were named for streets we've lived on; the welcome packet came in a courier's envelope; and the invitation itself took the form of a fold-up pocket map where key wedding locations and details are intermingled with the story and places of our relationship. The map also played double-duty as a tool to help the large group of out-of-town guests orient themselves in the city.
