Case study, brand, identity guidelines, and design for the Seattle institution.

The final type driven solution was picked for its embodiment of the brand platform. The woodblock forms are playful and inviting for families, but still carry the weight and solidarity necessary to appear relevant and trustworthy. The blocks are a nostalgic reference to turn- of-the-century newspapers and posters, but are arranged in a forward- looking manner that attempts to go beyond and differentiate itself from the visual identities of other museums.
