Devon DeLapp was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Eastern Washington. He earned his BFA from the top-ranked Visual Communication Design program at the University of Washington. Devon was the lead designer for the Department of Environmental Health at the UW, where he created web and print communications for the thirteen centers, institutes, and laboratories under the department's umbrella. He then worked for the award-winning design firm BLIND on projects for Quiksilver, Fox, Lincoln Financial, Dunkin' Donuts, Microsoft's XBox, and Toyota. In 2005 Devon founded DeLapp Design, where he has continued to service national and regional clients in the corporate, academic, and non-profit sectors.
Devon's work has been featured in I.D. Magazine and the Jacob Lawrence Gallery. In addition to design, he has a keen interest in food and has worked at restaurants, wineries, and organic farms in France and Italy. Devon lives with his wife in Seattle, Washington.
